Lena da Fonseca – Senior Adviser, Supervision Team, FMA
Since joining the FMA in 2015 Lena has been involved in multiple AML monitoring reports and is leading the development of the updated, soon to be published, FMA Sector Risk Assessment. Previously she has worked in various financial advisory roles in the financial services sector in both New Zealand and abroad. Lena holds a master’s degree in corporate finance and banking from the University of Vienna and gained CAMS qualification in 2016.
 
Brandt Botha  – Senior Adviser, Supervision Team, FMA
Brandt joined the FMA in 2016 and has been involved in a variety of AML activities that include provision of AML/CFT Training to FMA Reporting Entities, onsite monitoring visits, s59 Audit reviews and participating in the FMA Sector Risk Assessment. Brandt has previously worked in the financial sector in various roles including internal audit, fraud investigations, security management and AML management both in New Zealand and abroad. Brandt holds a Bachelors in Commerce, is a Certified Fraud Examiner and gained CAMS qualification in 2017
